APPOINTMENTS, &c.

No. 453. His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint under section 3 (9) of Ordinance No. 7 of 1935, Mr. TANG SHIU-KIN to be a Member of the Urban Council for a term of three years, with effect from 15th June, 1937.

2nd July, 1937.

No. 454.-His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased, under the provisions of section 3 of the Public Health (Sanitation) Ordinance, 1935, Ordinance No. 15 of 1935, to appoint Dr. ROBERT BEST JACKSON, M.D., B. Ch., D.P.H. (Dublin), Government Malariologist, to be a Health Officer for the purposes of the said Ordinance.

No. 455. His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased, under the provisions of section 6 of the Public Health (Sanitation) Ordinance, 1935, (Ordinance No. 15 of 1935) as amended by Ordinance No. 7'of 1937, specially to appoint the following Malarial Inspectors for the work of mosquito elimination, and to have the powers of officers of the Sanitary Department under the said Ordinance :-

M. R. DEB, Assistant to Malariologist.

KAM NAI-FAI, Malarial Inspector. NGAN KENG-HA, Malarial Inspector.

So PING-YIN, Malarial Inspector.

CHIU YUEN-HANG, Malarial Inspector.

SO CHING-WING, Malarial Inspector.

CHARLES LEE, Probationer Malarial Inspector.

LEUNG TAT-SHING, Probationer Malarial Inspector. FUNG YUE-LAM, Government Vaccinator.
