We pray that the event which is celebrated to-day may inaugurate a long and glorious reign for Your Majesties and an era of happiness, prosperity and honourable peace for Your Majesty's Kingdom and Empire."

His Honour the Chief Justice seconded the Resolution.

Sir HENRY E. POLLOCK, Senior Unofficial Member, supported the Resolution.

Dr. ROBERT HORMUS KOTEWALL supported the Resolution in the name of the

Chinese community.

His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government asked the Members and the Judges to signify their assent to the Resolution by rising and stand- ing with him,

The Resolution was unanimously adopted.

ANNOUNCEMENT.

6. His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government further addressed the Council and announced the terms of the Loyal Address to be sent to His Majesty the KING.

ADJOURNMENT.

7. The Council then adjourned sine die.

tion) Ordinance, 1935.

Ordinance No. 8 of 1937.-An Ordinance to amend the law relating to poisons and the registration of pharmaceutical chemists.
