The rainfall for the month of April at Victoria Peak was 2ins. 00 on 15 days, at Mount Kellett, it was lin. 38 on 5 days, at Botanical Gardens, lin. 41 on 9 days, at Taipo, 3ins. 89 on 9 days, and at Fanling, 3ins. '99 on 6 days.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 806 at 4h. 58m. on the 13th. The maximum gust velocity of the wind, as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 50 miles per hour at 18h. 58m. on the 14th.
