The following Order of the King's Most Excellent Majesty in Council is published for general information.

PRESENT,
THE KING'S MOST EXCELLENT MAJESTY IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Treaty, grant, usage, sufferance, and other lawful means, His Majesty the King has jurisdiction. within the dominions of the Republic of China :
NOW, THEREFORE, His Majesty, by virtue and in exercise of the powers in this behalf by the Foreign Jurisdiction Acts, 1890 and 1913 (53 & 54 Vict. c. 37, and 3 & 4 Geo. 5, c. 16), or otherwise in His Majesty vested, is pleased, by and with the advice of His Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:-
1. Article 104 of the "China Qrder in Council 1925" shall be amended by the addition of the words “and of any Rules or Regulations made thereunder" after the words "Subject to the provisions of this Order".
2. Article 209 (1) (b) of the said "China Order in Council'' shall be amended by the addition of the words " or for giving effect to" after the words "For securing the observance of"; and by the addition of the words "currency, finance" after the word "revenue".
3. Article 209 (i) (e) of the said "China Order in Council" shall be amended by the addition of the words "or any other matter relating to currency and finance".
4. Article 209 (3) of the said "China Order in Council" shall be amended by the deletion of the words "or, if no such punishment or fine is prescribed, he shall be liable, on conviction, to imprisonment, with or without hard labour, for a period not exceeding three months, or to a fine, or to both".
5. Any King's Regulation made previously to this Order shall be fully as valid and effective as if it had been made thereafter; but in respect of any penalties attaching to any such Regulation shall continue and be as if this Order had not been made.
