ORDINANCE No. 6 of 1928. (WATCHMEN).
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Watchmen Ordinance, 1928, as amended by section 2 of the Watchmen Amendment Ordinance, 1937, the Governor in Council further amends the Regulations made under the said section 3 as follows:-
Amendments.
(1) In the regulations published as Government Notifica- tion No. 192 in the Gazette of the 13th April, 1928, as amended by Government Notification No. 112 published in the Gazette of the 21st February, 1930, and by Government Notification No. 671 in the Gazette of the 7th November, 1930-
(i) the words "registration book" are substituted for the words "licence book" wherever they occur in regulations 2, 3, 4, and 6.
(ii) paragraph (c) of regulation 3 is rescinded and the following paragraph is substituted therefor:
(c) personally produce his registration book at the Guards' Office for endorsement during the month of January in each year.
(iii) the words "such book" are substituted for the words "such licence" in regulation 6.
(2) In the regulations relating to Village Scouts and Village guards published as Government Notification No. 111 in the Gazette of the 21st February, 1930, the words "registration book" are substituted for the words "licence book" wherever they occur in regulations 2 and 3.
