It is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor in Council has given directions for the rescission of the Order of the 21st December, 1936, published in the Gazette of the 24th December, 1936, as Government Notification No. 1002, declaring Pakhoi to be a place at which an infectious or contagious disease, namely, small-pox, prevailed, and the same is hereby rescinded.

No. 111-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. ARTHUR GRENFELL CLARKE to be Deputy Clerk of Councils, with effect from 15th February, 1937.

No. 112. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. KENNETHI MYER ARTHUR BARNEIT to be a Police Magistrate, with effect from 16th February, 1937.

No. 113. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. THOMAS MEGARRY to be Superintendent of Imports and Exports, with effect from the 20th February, 1937.

No. 114. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint the Honourable Mr. LEO D'ALMADA E CASTRO, Jr., and the Reverend Father GEORGE BYRNE to be Members of the Board of Education for a further period of two years, with effect from the 12th and 27th February, 1937, respectively.
