No. 101. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. JOHN PELLY MURPHY to be a Deputy Registrar of the Supreme Court and Deputy Registrar of Companies in addition to his other duties, with effect from 6th February, 1937.

No. 102.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to approve the following promotions in the Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps, with effect from 12th February, 1937 :-
1. Captain HENRY RUSSELL FORSYTH to the rank of Major.
2. Captain JOHN DURRAN, M.B., Ch.B. (Edin.), F.R.C.S.E., D.Ò. (Oxon.) to the
rank of Major.
3. Lieutenant JAMES FRANCIS WRIGHT to the rank of Captain.
4. Second Lieutenant ARTHUR N. BRAUDE to the rank of Lieutenant.
