SUPREME COURT.
No. 39.--With reference to Government Notification No. 1031 of 1936, it is hereby notified that Dr. ROBERTO ALEXANDRE DE CASTRO BASTO, M.D., B.S., M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P., D.O.M.S., being the only candidate duly nominated to fill the vacancy referred to in the above notification, has been duly elected a member of the Urban Council, with effect from the 13th day of January, 1937.
This notification is gazetted pursuant to Rule 3 of the Rules for the election of members of the Urban Council contained in Schedule C of the repealed Public Health and Buildings Ordinance, 1903, which said Rules remain in force by virtue of section 4 of the Urban Council Ordinance, 1935.
