ORDINANCE No. 7 of 1926. (POST OFFICE).

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Post Office Ordinance, 1926, the Governor in Council further amends the Post Office Regulations published as Government Notification No. 118 in the Gazette of the 26th February, 1932, as follows:-

Amendment.

Paragraph (1) of Regulation 7 is rescinded and the following paragraph substituted therefor :--

(1) The postage on Samples shall be as follows :-

(a) On Samples addressed to places in the United Kingdom and elsewhere in Europe via Siberia: 7 cents for each two ounces or part of two ounces with a minimum charge of 14 cents.

(b) On Samples addressed to all places, otherwise than via Siberia : 4 cents for each two ounces or part of two ounces with a minimum charge of 8 cents.

ORDINANCE No. 28 of 1917 (FERRIES).

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Ferries Ordinance, 1917, the exclusion from the operation of that Ordinance of the ferry of Hung On between Sam Ka Tsun and A Kung Nam, i.e., across Lyeemun Pass, referred to in Government Notification No. 441 of 1933, is rescinded, such ferry having been discontinued.

In further exercise of the said powers the ferry named hereunder is excluded from the operation of the Ferries Ordinance 1917, so long as :-

(1) no exclusive and conflicting licence is granted under the said Ordinance; and

(2) Only one launch or motor boat is employed by the person named in the service; and
