ORDINANCE No. 34 of 1910. (NEW TERRITORIES REGULATION).

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the New Territories Regulation Ordinance, 1910, the Governor in Council amends the rules with regard to Tsun Wan Market, published in the Gazette of the 20th March, 1936, Government Notification No. 265, as follows:-

1. Rule 2 is rescinded and the following rule is substituted therefor :-

(a) Except under and in accordance with a licence granted by the District Officer, South, no person shall within the Tsun Wan Market Area sell or expose for sale in any place other than the market any fresh meat, fresh fish or fresh vegetables: Provided that this rule shall not prevent the retail sale of fish by licensed boatmen below low water mark.

(b) It shall be lawful for the District Officer, South, to grant, upon such conditions as may to him seem desirable, such licences as he may think fit for the sale in premises outside the market of articles of food for man usually sold

or exposed for sale in the market.

The fee for any such licence as mentioned in this paragraph shall be:-

For a licence to sell fresh meat For a licence to sell fresh fish....

For a licence to sell fresh vegetables

$30.00 per quarter.

$30.00 per quarter.

$20.00 per quarter.

2. The following additional rule is inserted immediately after rule 2:-

2A. (1) No person shall carry on the trade of a hawker within the Tsun Wan Market Area except under and in accordance with a licence granted by the District Officer, South.

(2) It shall be lawful for the District Officer, South, to grant, upon such conditions as may to him seem desirable, such hawkers' licences as he may think fit.

(3) The fee for any such hawker's licence shall be $2.00 per annum.
