No. 446.-His Majesty the KING has been pleased to approve the appointment of the Honourable Sir HENRY EDWARD POLLOCK, K.C., to be an Unofficial Member of the Legislative Council for a further period of four years, with effect from the 17th January, 1936.

No. 447.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint under section 6 of Ordinance No. 7 of 1935, Mr. CYRIL CHAMPKIN to be a Member of the Urban Council during the absence from the Colony of Mr. LEONARD CHARLES FENTON BELLAMY, M.C., with effect from 6th May, 1936.

No. 448.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to make the following appointments under section 9 (3) of the Liquors Ordinance, 1931, Ordinance No. 36 of
1931:-
The Honourable Mr. ROLAND ARTHUR CHARLES NORTH, Acting Colonial Secre- tary, to be Chairman of the Licensing Board, with effect from 18th April, 1936.
The Honourable Mr. CHALONER GRENVILLE ALABASTER, O.B.E., K.C., to be an Official Member and Vice-Chairman for a further period of three years, with effect from 9th April, 1936.
Mr. THOMAS AITKEN MITCHELL to be a Member of the Board for a period of three
years, with effect from 23rd April, 1936.

No. 449.-With reference to the Forest Officers Ordinance, 1923, it is hereby notified that Mr. JOHN ROBERT VINCENT EVEREST has been appointed "Forest Officer" in the Botanical and Forestry Department for the control and superintendence of the forests of the Colony, in the place of Mr. KENNETH WILLIAM FORROW, with effect from 1st May, 1936.
