ORDINANCE No. 30 of 1915.

(ASIATIC EMIGRATION).

ORDINANCE No. 23 of 1917. (BOARDING-HOUSE).

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 44 (1) of the Asiatic Emigration Ordinance, 1915, and section 3 of the Boarding-house Ordinance, 1917, the Governor in Council hereby further amends the Boarding-house rules set forth on pages 715-726 of the Regulations of Hong Kong, 1844-1925, as follows:-

(1) In rule No. 1,

Amendments.

delete "Class V.-Ku Li Kun (1)”.

(2) In rule No. 3,

delete", in the case of all classes except Class V' and "

and in the case of Class V one surety,".

(3) In rule No. 8,

delete "the Liquors Consolidation Ordinance, 1911," and substitute the Liquors Ordinance, 1931,".

(4) Delete rule No. 13.

(5) In rules Nos. 18, 19. 24 and 31,

delete "the Head of the Sanitary Department”, wherever such words occur, and substitute "the Chairman of the Urban Council".

(6) In rule No. 2, fifth line,

delete "7,".

(7) In rule No. 28,

delete "except in Classes V and VI" and substitute "except in Class VI".

(8) In the First Schedule,

(a) delete Form No. 7.

(b) in Forms Nos. 4, 6, 8 and 9 after the words

"accommodation authorised for.

add the words "including fokis".

delete 'V
