No. S. 37.It is hereby notified that on account of the prevalence of plague in Manchuria, the Mails "via Siberia" are considerably delayed. The Public are therefore recommended not to use this route for transmission of correspondence until normal condi- tions prevail. There is only a weekly service between Shanghai and Dalny, leaving Shanghai on Fridays.

HARBOUR MASTER'S DEPARTMENT.

No. S. 38. It is hereby notified that information has been received from the Military Authorities that Gun Practice will be carried out as under:-

On Thursday, the 23rd February, 1911:-

From the West of Hongkong, in a South-Westerly to Southern direction,

between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

If the range is clear practice will be over by 2 p.m.

If the weather is unfavourable on the above date, practice will take place on the follow-

ing day.

All ships, juuks and other vessels are to keep clear of the range.
