No. 917.- His Excellency the Governor, under subsection (3) of section 3 of the Births and Deaths Registration Ordinance, 1934, Ordinance No. 21 of 1934, hereby appoints the Clerk in charge of the Kowloon Death Registry to be an Assistant Registrar for the district of Kowloon.

COLONIAL SECRETARY'S DEPARTMENT.
With reference to Government Notification No. 32 published in the Gazette of the 16th January, 1931, regarding the Anglo-Turkish Commercial Treaty signed at Angora on the 1st of March, 1903, it is hereby notified for general information that notice of denunciation of the Treaty has been given by the Turkish Government as from the 13th of September, 1934. In accordance with Article 39 of the Treaty the denunciation will take effect twelve months from that date.
