An Ordinance to amend the Empire Preference Ordinance,

1932.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Empire Preference Short title. Amendment Ordinance, 1934.

2. Section 2 of the Empire Preference Ordinance, 1932, Substitution is amended by the repeal of the paragraph beginning "The of new British Empire" and by the substitution of the following para- "British graph therefor :-

"The British Empire" means the United Kingdom of 1932, s. 2. Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Dominions, India, the territories administered by His Majesty's Governments in the Dominions under Mandate or otherwise, the British Colonies and protected States, and the Mandated Territories of Tan- ganyika, the Cameroons under British Mandate and Togoland under British Mandate.
