5. The Colonial Treasurer addressed the Council and moved the following resolu--

tion :-

That this Council approves the further expenditure of $16,232 on the Vehi- cular Ferry during the financial year 1933, which sum shall be met from loan funds and shall meanwhile be charged as an advance from the Surplus Balances of the Colony.
