APPOINTMENTS, &c.
No. 608.-His Majesty the KING has been pleased to approve the provisional appointment of the Honourable Mr. CHARLES GORDON STEWART MACKIE to be temporarily an Unofficial Member of the Executive Council in the place of the Honourable Sir HENRY EDWARD POLLOCK, Kt., K.C., LL.D., who is temporarily absent from the Colony, with effect from 4th May, 1934.

ORDINANCE No. 39 of 1932. (COMPANIES).
WHEREAS by section 291 of the Companies Ordinance, 1932, it is provided that any person may inspect the documents kept by the Registrar of Companies on payment of such fees as may be appointed by the Governor not exceeding one dollar for each inspection.
AND WHEREAS it is also provided by the said section that any person may require a certificate of the incorporation of any company, or a copy or extract of any other document or any part of any other document, to be certified by the registrar, on payinent for the certificate, certified copy or extract, of such fees as the Governor may appoint, not exceeding five dollars for a certificate of incorporation and not exceeding fifty cents for each folio of a certified copy or
extract.
NOW THEREFORE I, Sir WILLIAM PEEI., Knight Com- mander of the Most Disinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice- Admiral of the same, do hereby appoint the undermentioned fees for payment in respect of the following matters :- For inspecting in respect of any company the register or
any file or document-For each inspection
For a certificate of incorporation
For a certified copy or extract of any other document or any part of any other document where the copy or extract has been prepared in the office of the Registrar, per folio of 72 words
