No. 513. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under section 9 of the regulations of the Hong Kong Naval Volunteer Force, to appoint JOHN RICHARD BERGNE- COUPLAND. Esquire, to be Probationary Engineer Sub-Lieutenant in the Naval Volunteer Force, with effect from 21st June, 1934.

No. 514.-His Majesty the KING has been pleased to approve the appointment of the Honourable Mr. JoHN JOHNSTONE PATERSON to be an Unofficial Member of the Legislative Council for a period of four years, with effect from the 15th day of March, 1934.
Government Notification No. 311, published in the Government Gazette of the 20th April, 1934, is rescinded.
