His Excellency the Governor in Council has been pleased to direct under section 7 of the Public Health and Buildings Ordinance, 1903, Ordinance No. 1 of 1903, that the name of Captain REGINALD DAVID WALKER, M.C., be added to the List of Authorized Architects published in Government Notifica- tion No. 697 of the 20th October, 1933.

ORDINANCE No. 7 of 1906. (PROSPECTING AND MINING).
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Prospecting and Mining Ordinance, 1906, the Governor in licence Council hereby amends the conditions of mining contained in the Second Schedule to the Regulations (New Territories) made under the said Ordinance, which Schedule is set forth on pages 332-335 of the Regulations of Hong Kong, 1844-1925, as follows :
Amendment.
Condition 2 is rescinded and the following condition is substituted therefor :-
3. The licensee shall pay, in advance, for the licence, and for and upon any and each renewal thereof, at the rate of two hundred and fifty dollars a square mile or, if grant by tender shall have been directed by the Governor in Council, at the other and higher rate specified in the accepted tender for the licence, as the case may be. The amount to be paid in accordance with this condition shall be entered in the licence as the fee.
