The rainfall for the month of February at the Botanical Gardens was lin. 70 on 4 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was lin. 40 on 3 days, at Fanling, lin. 58 on 4 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, lin. 80 on 7 days.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 914 at 5h. 22m on the 24th. The maximum gust velocity of the wind, as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemo- graph, was at the rate of 48 miles per hour at 3h. 18m. on the 23rd.
