No. 34. His Majesty the KING has not been advised to exercise his power of disallowance with respect to the following Ordinances :-
Ordinance No. 23 of 1933.—An Ordinance to amend the law relating to the jurisdiction of Magistrates in Bankruptcy offences.
Ordinance No. 24 of 1933.—An Ordinance for the establishment and adminis- tration of a Mercantile Marine Assistance Fund in Hong Kong.

No. 35. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to make under section 9 of the regulations of the Hong Kong Naval Volunteer Force, the following appointments in the Naval Volunteer Defence Corps, with effect from 16th January, 1934:--
ANDREW LUSH SHIELDS, Esq., to be Ilonorary Commander.
HAROLD STUART Rouse, Esq., to be Probationary Lieutenant-Commander. THEODORE PATRICK KENNETH KEMBLE, Esq., to be Probationary Lieutenant. SYDNEY HAMPDEN Ross, Esq., to be Probationary Pay-master Lieutenant. LESLIE JOHN DAVIS, Esq, to be Probationary Surgeon Lieutenant.
The VERY REVEREND DEAN ALFRED SWANN, M.A., to be Probationary Chaplain.

No. 36. His Excellency the Governor has seen fit by licence to direct under the provisions of sub-section 2 of section 93 of the Companies Ordinance, 1932, that H. SKOTT & COMPANY, LIMITED, a company registered under the said Ordinance which uses as its name in Chinese characters the characters (****) and is a limited company other than a China company, be exempted, wholly, from the requirements of the said sub-section.
