18. Any member of the Force may volunteer for naval training for a period not exceeding a total of six months in every four years.

19. When members of the Force are embarked for service in H. M. Ships, they are to accommodate themselves to the berthing and messing arrangements usual to the Officers and men of the Royal Navy.

DISCIPLINE.
20. The discipline of the Force is governed by the Naval Forces Act 1903 and the Acts incorporated therewith and by these Regulations and by the Ordinance under which they are made.
21. The Commanding Officer may at any time order an inquiry into any matter which he may consider it expedient to investigate and which comes within his power as Com- manding Officer but formal Courts of Inquiry can only be held under the authority of the Commodore with the approval of the Governor and in accordance with the King's Regulations and Admiralty Instructions.
22. Meetings are not to be held by the Members of the Force for the purpose of expressing an opinion upon the act of a Commanding Officer or of recommending him to take a particular course of action; nor are memorials to be drawn up to the same effect. No meetings except those authorised by the Commanding Officer, will be recognised.
23. All members of the Force are forbidden to write for publication or to publish or cause to be published either direct- ly or indirectly any matter or information relating to the Naval Service, unless the permission of the Commodore has first been obtained.
24. All members of the Force when in uniform are to pay the customary marks of respect to such Officers of the Navy, Army, Air and Auxiliary Forces as are entitled to be saluted by members of corresponding rank in their own service.
25. The H.K.N.V. are not to assemble under arms for any purpose unconnected with parade drill or rifle practice, except with the approval of the Commodore.
CALLING OUT FOR ACTUAL SERVICE.
26.-(1) In case of great national or local emergency or in case of actual or apprehended invasion of or attack on the Colony, or in case of serious local disturbance, or in case it may be desirable to take precautions against the possibility of serious local disturbance, the Governor (without prejudice to any powers that may be exercised by His Majesty or by His Majesty in Council or by the Governor or by the Governor
