Uniform for officers.
(3) The establishment of the commissioned and warrant Officers, Cadets and Ratings of the II.K.N.V. shall be fixed by the Governor and is shown in Tables A1 and A2 in regula-
tion 4.
(4) The relative precedence of commissioned and warrant Officers and Cadets of the whole force is determined solely by the rank and date of their commissions or warrants or appoint- ments in the force.
(5) List II commissioned and warrant Officers and Cadets attending ceremonial parades, etc., shall not on account of rank or seniority supersede those on List I.
UNIFORM.
6.-(1) The uniform of Officers of the Force is the same in all respects as that of Officers of corresponding rank and branch of the R.N. with the following exceptions:-
(i) Instead of each distinction stripe of gold lace round the sleeves of the coat, there is a waved line of three-eights inch gold lace. (The half stripe, however, is a straight line of one-eight inch gold lace).
(ii) The edges of the coloured cloths denoting Branches other than the Military Branch are waved to follow the curves of the lace. When there is more than one stripe of distinction lace the coloured cloth fills the space between the stripes.
(iii) The buttonhole of white twist for Cadets R.N. is replaced by a Maroon twist.
NOTE: The waved lines of the distinction lace consist in continuous curves and not in straight lines with round- ed angles.
(2) Commissioned and warrant Officers embarked in H.M. Ships will be required to have the following:-
Undress Coat (Monkey Jacket)

Frock Coat and Undress
Trousers, Plain, Blue.
Cap
Sword & Sword Belt
Oilskin.
Jacket.
No. 7 Mess Undress
Evening Waistcoat, Blue. Trousers, Plain, Blue.
NOTE: The corresponding white uniform will be required.
(3) The following articles should also as a general rule be provided by Executive Officers when embarking in H.M. Ships :-
Uniform Greatcoat or Watchcoat
Sea Boots.
On ceremonial occasions, Officers must appear in the appropriate dress laid down for Officers, R.N. General regu- lations concerning the wearing of uniform patterns, etc., are contained in the Quarterly Navy List.
