The rainfall for the month of September at the Botanical Gardens was 14ins. 65 on 16 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was 13ins. 25 on 8 days, at Fanling, 15ins. 91 on 14 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, 13ins. 22 on 18 days.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 547 at 9b. 53m. on the 20th. The maximum gust velocity as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 67 miles per hour at 9h. 55m. on the 20th.
