NOTICES.

GENERAL POST OFFICE.

No. 606.-The Postmaster General and the Collector of Stamp Revenue in pursu- ance of section 19 of the Stamp Duties Management Ordinance, 1911, Ordinance No. 35 of 1911, hereby give notice that the use of all dies bearing the Effigy of His late Majesty King Edward VII which were in use previously for denoting duties of postage (of which dies some have been available for denoting also stamp duties) has been discontinued, and that from and after the 31st day of December, 1933, those dies will not be lawful dies for denoting the payment of stamp duty chargeable by law, including postage.

Note Holders of Hong Kong postage stamps bearing the Effigy of His late Majesty King Edward VII are advised to use such stamps before the 1st January, 1934, or, if preferred, to apply to the Postmaster General for exchange of postage stamps of the current issue.
