The rainfall for the month of February at the Botanical Gardens was Oin. 20 on 4 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was in. 10 on 3 days, at Fanling, (in. 19 on 3 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, 0in. 36 on 6 days.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 807 at 16h. 00m. on the 28th. The maximum gust velocity of the wind, as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 48 miles per hour at 11h 09m. on the 25th.
