The rainfall for the month of December at the Botanical Gardens was fins. 83 on 8 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was 4ins. 71 on 11 days, at Fanling,
is. 19 on 7 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, 5ins. 55 on 10 days.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 825 at 3h 20m. on the 9th.
The maximum gust velocity as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 50 miles per hour at 6h. 19m. on the 9th.
