The successful tenderer will be required to sign a formal contract containing conditions to be prescribed by the Board and also to give security by depositing a sum of two hundred dollars in the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation in the name of the Honourable Colonial Treasurer, failing compliance with these requirements the sum deposited with the tender will be forfeited.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

No. S. 303.-It is hereby notified that offers are invited for various buildings erected near the North and South faces of the tunnel and at Tai Po in connection with the construction of the Railway and no longer required for that purpose. The Government are prepared to dispose of them either for occupation or for demolition and removal.

Outer Harbor.
MASTERS of vessels, pilots, and others are hereby informed that on and after October 17th, 1910, the lights and beacons of No. 0 lead will be moved 100ft. north from their present position, the line of leads being the same-N. 74 E. and S. 74 W.-i.e., through the centre of the 400ft. channel.
The outer light is 33ft. above L.W., and the back light 40ft. above L.W. Both will be visible at a distance of about 10 miles.
The beacons are open ironwork structures, and painted white.
