HARBOUR MASTER'S DEPARTMENT.
No. S. 286.-It is hereby notified that information has been received from the Military Authorities that Gun Practice will be carried out as under:
(i.) From the West of Hongkong, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., on
Monday, the 5th instant, in a North-Westerly direction.
Wednesday, the 7th instant, in a Westerly and South-Westerly direction. Thursday, the 8th instant, in a North-Westerly direction.
(ii.) From Lyemun, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., on
Tuesday, the 6th instant, in a North-Easterly direction.
If the range is foul, practice may be delayed until 4 p.n. on any of the above dates.
If the weather is unfavourable on any of the above dates, practice will take place on the following day.
All ships, junks and other vessels are to keep clear of the ranges.
