No. S. 185. It is hereby notified that tenders will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 19th September, 1910, for repairs to No. 2 Police Launch.

Specifications can be obtained at the Government Marine Surveyor's Office.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

No. S. 186.-It is hereby notified that tenders will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Thursday, the 22nd September, 1910, for repairs to No. 7 Police Launch.

Specifications can be obtained at the Government Marine Surveyor's Office.

Repairs to be executed to the satisfaction of the Government Marine Surveyor.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

KOWLOON-CANTON RAILWAY.

No. S. 187.-It is hereby notified that tenders will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of 1st October, 1910, for the supply of Miscellaneous Stores for the Kowloon-Canton Railway, British Section, from 15th October, 1910, to the end of June, 1911.

The prices quoted to include free delivery at the Railway Stores at Hung Hom.

No tender will be received unless the person tendering produces a receipt to the effect that he has deposited in the Colonial Treasury, the sum $100 as a pledge of the bonâ fides of his offer which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown if such person refuses to carry out his tender should the tender be accepted.

For such articles as are not sufficiently defined by the brand or maker's name, the tenderer must supply samples or specify the brand and quality he is prepared to supply.

The successful tenderer will be required to sign a formal contract in the usual form of Government Contracts and to give security for the sum of $500 in a bond with two sureties conditional for the due and faithful performance of the terms of such contract.

The Chief Resident Engineer does not bind himself to accept the lowest or any tender and reserves the right to accept the whole or part of any tender. Tenderers may therefore quote for a part or whole of the items required.
