No. S. 168.-It is hereby notified that tenders will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 12th September, 1910, for repairs to No. 5 Police Launch.
Specifications can be obtained at the Government Marine Surveyor's Office. Repairs to be executed to the satisfaction of the Government Marine Surveyor.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

No. S. 169. It is hereby notified that sealed tenders are invited for the supply of 1,200 Tons of Coal for the Kowloon-Canton Railway.
Tenders to reach the Colonial Secretary's Office on or before Wednesday, the 7th day of September, 1910.
The following is the form of tender, copies of which may be obtained from the Office of the Chief Resident Engineer, Hunghom :--

We, the undersigned, agree to supply the British Section of the Kowloon-Canton Railway with the following varieties of coal in the quantities specified, one third of each variety to be delivered before the 1st of October, and the remainder before the 30th day of November, 1910, into Railway trucks alongside wharf at Kowloon station Yard:-

The Chief Resident Engineer reserves the right to accept the whole or part of any tender and does not bind himself to accept the lowest or any tender.

No tender will be received unless the person tendering produces a receipt to the effect that he has deposited in the Colonial Treasury, the sum $100 as a pledge of the bonâ fides of his offer which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown if such person refuses to carry out his tender should the tender be accepted.
