NOTICES TO MARINERS.

THE Master of the British S.S. Taming reports that on the 28th July at 6.30 a.m. in Lat. 16° 43' N. Long. 118° 27' E. he passed a conical skeleton buoy with a diamond on top. The topsides and diamond were painted green and bottom red. The buoy was in good condition, and did not appear to have been long adrift.

NOTICE is hereby given that Okino-su Lightbuoy on the north side of Okino-su, Shiaku-seto, Inland Sea, drifted from its moorings (see Notification No. 1398 of Depart- ment of Communications, December 1909), has been remoored in its former position.

Wreck of Stone Junk in Canton River.

NOTICE is hereby given that a junk laden with stone lies sunk in the Canton River. The mast is showing above water.

The wreck lies in 24 feet L. W. S. and from it Amherst Point light bears N. 81° E; Highest Peak Tiger Island S. 15° E. magnetic.

Steps are being taken for its removal.

In accordance with Section 168 of the Public Health and Buildings Ordinances, 1903-1909, it is hereby notified that the Government proposes to erect four public latrines, one on Crown Land close to foreshore formerly used as a dust boat station at Tai Kok Tsui, one on Crown Land between Messrs. Hughes & Hough's coal-sheds and Messrs. Lysaught & Farrel's Engineering Works at To Kwa Wan, one on Crown Land opposite Nos. 89 and 91 Kowloon City Road and one on Crown Land to rear of No. 2 Main Street at Fuk Tsun Heung.

If any owner or occupier of property in the immediate vicinity of any of such sites objects to such erection, such objection must be sent in writing to the Colonial Secretary so as to reach his office not later than the 12th August, 1910.

Such objection must state the reasons and specify the property with regard to the ownership or occupation of which such objection is made and the interest therein of the objector.
