8. Except with the permission of the Principal Civil Medical Officer the licensee shall not have in his possession, custody, or power, at any one time more than five pounds by weight, inclusive of the substance known commercially as Morphine or of the Salts thereof.

9. The licensee shall not import into the Colony any Morphine unless the outer case or covering in which the said Morphine is contained is legibly and distinctly marked with the word 'Poison' and the name or names of the substance contained therein.”

No. 325.

The following Conditions of Licence to import for export and to export from the Colony Morphine is hereby alded by the Officer Administering the Government-in-Council under Section 53 (4) of the Opium Ordinance, 1909, to the conditions published in the Gazette of 4th March, 1910, and on paye 592 of the Regulations of Hongkong, 1910.

5. The licensee shall not import into or export from the Colony any Morphine, unless the outer case or covering, in which the said Morphine is contained, is legibly and distinctly marked with the word 'Poison' and the name or names of the substance contained therein."

Amendment to Regulations relating to the storage and removal of Morphine and Com- pounds of Opium imported for exportation ma∙le by the Officer Administering the Government- in-Council under Section 58 of the Opium Ordinance, 1909, (Ordinance No. 23 of 1909), this 13th day of October, 1910.

The Regulations made by the Governor-in-Council under Section 58 of the Opium Ordinance, 1999, and publishel in the Gazette on the 4th day of March, 1910, and on piges 596-598 of the Regulations of Hongkong, 1910, relating to the storage and removal of Mor- phine and Compounds of Opium imported for exportation are hereby amended as follows:-

1. By the insertion of the following Regulation after No. 4 and the re-numbering

of the subsequent Regulations:-

"5. The Superintendent may direct that any chest, box or package containing morphine or compound of opium stred under the provisions of the preceding Regulation shall be fastened or sealed in a manner to be approved by him and such fastening or seal shall not thereafter be removed or broken while the said box, chest or package remains within the waters of the Colony."

2. By the insertion of the following Proviso to Regulation No. 6 :---

"Provided that such morphine or compound of opium shall be con- veyed direct to the ship in which it is to be exported and shall not in the course of such conveyance be placed in any warehouse, godown, store or other building whatsoever."

3. By the insertion in Regulation No. 9 after the words "bonded warehouse" in line 3 of the words "or in transit from such warehouse to any ship for exportation".

No. 327.-It is hereby notified that the Governor-in-Council has appointed the Government Hospital at Kennedy Town to be a Leper Asylum for the segregation and treatment of lepers in accordance with Section 2 of the Lepers Ordinauce, 1910, (No. 24 of 1910).
