No. 799.-It is hereby notified that tenders will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Tuesday, the 28th December, 1909, for the supply of labour and material for the Chinese Cemeteries in Hongkong and Kowloon for the period of one year from the 1st January next.
For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

HAYATOMO-SETO TIDAL OBSERVATION LIGHTBUOY ALTERED.
NOTICE is hereby given that Hayatomo-seto Tidal Observation Lightbuoy on the north side of Hayatomo-seto, Shimonoseki Strait, has been altered as follows:-
Painting-The half, white, and the other half, red.
Colour of light :-The half, white, and the other half, red.
This buoy being turned round and round by the current, the red and white colours do not always remain in the definite positions.

HARBOUR NOTIFICATION.
No. 9 of 1909.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Superintendent of Customs and the Doyen of the Consular Body having withdrawn the declaration of infection as regards Formosan Ports, the General Medical Inspection of vessels arriving from these Ports is discontinued from this date.
The importation of the following articles from the above Ports is, except as provided for in Harbour Notification No. 6 of 1906, still prohibited :--
Rags, old paper, old gunny bags, coffins containing corpses, and earth and mould.
