No. 736.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. NG HON- Tsz to be a Member of the Sanitary Board for a term of three years with effect from the 15th instant, vice Mr. Ho Koм TONG resigned.

NOTICES.

SUPREME COURT.

WHEREAS the Governor-in-Council on the 10th day of November, 1909, resumed the property registered in the Land Office as Kowloon Inland Lots 442 and 618 for a public purpose under and by virtue of the powers conferred upon him by the Crown Lands Resump- tion Ordinance, 1900:

AND WHEREAS it is by the same Ordinance enacted that a Board consisting of three members should be appointed in manner therein prescribed to determine the amount of com- pensation to be paid in respect of such resumption :

NOTICE is hereby given that in accordance with the provisions of the said Ordinance, the following Board has been constituted:-

His Honour HENRY HESSEY JOHNSTON GOMPERTZ, Puisne Judge, Chairman;

The Honourable Mr. PATRICK NICHOLAS HILL JONES, Director of Public Works,

Member nominated by His Excellency the Governor ;

Robert Shewan, Esquire, Member nominated by or on behalf of the owners of

the property resumed;

and that INAYAT ULLAH MIRZA, Puisne Judge's Clerk, has been appointed by His Excellency the Governor to act as Clerk to the Board.

AND NOTICE is hereby given that the Board will commence its sittings at the Supreme- Court on Friday, the 3rd day of December, 1909, at 2.30 p.m.

AND NOTICE is also given that every person claiming compensation whether as owner or otherwise by reason of such resumption must transmit to the Clerk of the Board a written claim stating the nature of his right or interest in the land and the amount which he seeks

to recover.
