No. 715-It is hereby notified that a meeting of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the Colony will be held at the Magistracy, at 2.15 p.m., on Friday, the 12th day of November, 1909, for the purpose of considering the following applications under the Liquor Licences Ordinances, 8 of 1898 and 8 of 1908, viz.:
1. From one ISMAIL PILLAY MADAR for a publican's licence to sell by retail intox- icating liquors on premises numbered 148 and 159, Queen's Road Central, and 99 and 101, Wellington Street, under the sign of The Stag Hotel".

2. From one FREDERICK REICHMANN for a publican's licence to sell by retail intox- icating liquors on premises numbered 2, Queen's Road Central, under the sign of "The Oriental Hotel".

No. 716.It is hereby notified that tenders will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Saturday, the 27th November, 1909, for the purchase of Waste Food from Victoria Gaol for the ensuing year, commencing 1st January, 1910, to 31st December, 1910, inclusive.
This consists of the Kitchen Refuse and Waste of Rice, Congee, Vegetables, Fish, &c., averaging 200 lbs. daily.

No. 717.-It is hereby notified that tenders will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Saturday, the 27th November, 1909, for the supply of Dry Earth for sanitary purposes to Victoria Gaol for the space of one year from the 1st January next.
The earth to be procured from a spot to be pointed out by the Director of Public Works in the vicinity of the Pokfulam Road, and to be delivered at Victoria Gaol at such times and in such quantities as may be required.
