PETROLEUM COMPANY LIMITED of Victoria in the Colony of Hongkong and else- where have on the 29th day of September 1909 applied for the registration in Hongkong in the Register of Trade Marks of the follow- ing Trade Mark :—

A Swan swimming at some water with reeds in the background the whole being enclosed in a fancy border, in the name of TRE ASIATIC PETROLEUM COMPANY LIMITED who claim to be the sole proprietors thereof.

The Trade Mark has been used by the Applicants in respect of the following goorts in the following class :-

Class 47 in respect of Benzine for dry cleaning Motor Spirit Candles Kero- sine Lamp Oil Lubricating Oil and all other products of Petroleum.

stag standing on a rope with his right foreleg raised in the air the whole being enclosed in a garter on which is written Recte Agens Neminem Timeto meaning thereby effective uprightness is feared by no one in the name of REISS & Co. who claim to be the sole proprietors thereof.

RSUANT to an order made by the Su- preme Court of Hongkong in its Probate Jurisdiction by virtue of Section 58 of the Probates Ordinance 1897 Notice is hereby given that all creditors and other persons hav- ing any claims or demands upon or against the estate of NICOLAS AUGUSTE COURTAU late of No. 22 Rue de Malzeville, Nancy, in the Republic of France, Proprietor, who died at No. 22 Rue de Malzeville aforesaid on the 12th day of April 1907, and Letters of Admin- istration with Will and Codicil annexed of whose personal estate were duly granted by the said Supreme Court of Hongkong in its Probate Jurisdiction to HERBERT JOHNSON GEDGE and ANDREW HUGH GILMORE JACK- SON on the 23rd day of September 1909. are hereby required to send particulars in writing of their claims to the undersigned Solicitors for the said administrators, on or before the 18th day of November 1909, after which date the said administrators will proceed to distri- bute the assets of the said NICOLAS AUGUSTE COURTAU deceased amongst the parties entitled thereto having regard only to the claims of which the said administrators have then had notice; and they will not be liable for the assets or any part thereof so distributed to any person of whose claim the said admin- istrators have not had notice at the time of distribution.
