ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS passed under the Royal Sign Manual and Signet to the Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hongkong, revoking Additional Instructions, dated 21st January, 1846, as to Appeals from the Supreme Court of that Colony to the Sovereign in Council.

ADDITIONAL INSTUCTIONS to Our Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Our Colony of Hongkong and its Dependencies and to Our Lieutenant- Governor or other officer for the time being administering the Government of Our said Colony and its Dependencies.

Whereas Her late Majesty Queen Victoria was pleased by certain Additional Instructions under the Royal Sign Manual and Signet, dated the Twenty-first day of January, 18:46, and confirmed by Article XXVII. of Her Instructions dated the Nineteenth day of January, 1888, to make pro- vision for permitting and regulating Appeals to the Sovereign in Council from the Supreme Court of Our Colony of Hongkong and its Dependencies:

And whereas by an Order in Our Privy Council bearing even date herewith We have ordered that the Rules therein set out shall henceforth regulate all Appeals to Us in Council from Our said Colony and its De- pendencies:

Now therefore We do by these Our Additional Instructions under Our Sign Manual and Signet revoke forthwith, but, without prejudice to any thing lawfully done thereunder, the said Additional Instructions of the Twenty-first day of January, 1846, so confirmed as aforesaid..

Given at Our Court at Saint James's this Tenth day of August, 1909, in the Ninth Year of Our Reign,
