premises or at the place where they are sold and may refuse to issue or transfer any such licence or inay suspend or cancel any such licence at any time.

(2.) The fee for such licence shall be ten dollars per annum or such other sum as the Legislative Council may by resolution from time to time direct.

(3.) Such licence shall not authorise the person to whom it is granted to sell intoxicating liquors other than medi- cated wines nor authorise such person to sell medicated wines except in bottles which have not been opened since importation.

(4.) Liquors shall not be deemed to be medicated wines unless and until the fact of their being medicated wines is proved to the satisfaction of the Government Analyst or of such person as the Governor may appoint in that behalf.

PART V.

Keeping of Intoxicating Liquors by Licensees,

26. Every person who holds a licence under the Licensed provisions of the Liquor Licences Ordinances, 1898-1908, shall

(1.) on demand by the Superintendent render an account in writing of the quantity and descrip- tion of the intoxicating liquors in his possession custody or control ;

PART VI.

Revenue Officers.

28.-(1.) The Superintendent may grant to any person Revenne approved by him a warrant in the Form No. 12 in the Officers. Schedule to this Ordinance to act as a revenue officer under this Ordinanec.

(2.) Every such revenue officer shall be deemed to be

a public officer.

(3.) The Superintendent shall have power to withdraw at any time any warrant so granted by him.

(4.) Every revenue officer shall be supplied with a suitable badge of office which shall be returned to the Superintendent when the warrant is withdrawn.

(5.) Every revenue officer when acting against any per- son under this Ordinance shall on demand declaro his office and produce his badge of office to the person against whom he is acting.
