Application for Registration of Trade Marks,

NOTICE is hereby given that Messrs, H.

SKOTT AND COMPANY of Victoria Hongkong Merchants have on the 30th day of June 1909 applied for the registration, in Hongkong in the Register of Trade Marks. of the following Trade Marks: -

1. Four butterflies hovering romad

Flower and the words " Butterfly Flower in Chinese and the word

• Butterfly".

2. A quail perched on the trunk of a tree and a landscape in the back ground and above the words Bob White".

3. A windmill and the words

4. The letter "V" in an oval border and

5. The letters C & C enclosed in an

6. A Chinese graduate standing on 0 dragon's head, on each side is an ornamental scroll and below are the words Chong Yuen" and Chinese characters meaning Standing on the Whale's head ".

7. A Chinese character written in a dis- tinctive manner meaning *Twofold gladness" and the words "Good Luck Brand ".

8. A porcupine and the Chinese charac- |

in the name of Messrs. H. SKOTT AND COMPANY who claim to be the sole proprietors thereof.

The Trade Marks have been used by the Applicants in respect of Flour, in Class 42.

JENNER HOGG, Esq., 10, Peking Road, Shanghai, on Tuesday, the 27th day of July, 1909, the following Special Resolution was duly passed. and at a subsequent Extraordinary General Meeting also duly convened and held at the same place, on Tuesday, the 17th day of August, 1909, the said Resolution was duly confirmed:-

That the Company be wound up volun- tarily, and, that J. E. BINGHAM, Esq. of Shanghai, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding up.”

"OTICE is hereby given that the creditors

required on or before the 2nd October, 1909, to send their names and addresses and the particulars of their debts or claims, to the undersigned the liquidator of the said Com- pony, and. if so required by notice in writing fron the undersigned to come in and prove their said debts or claims at such time and place as shall be specified in such notice or in default thereof they will be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved.
