No. 517.—It is hereby notified that the following fees will be payable to the Sanitary Department for the removal of a patient in an ambulance to or from any private Hospital or private residence:-

(1.) A fee of $2 for any removal on the lower levels.

(2) A fee of $4 for any such removal to or from any private Hospital or resi-

dence situate above the level of Bowen Road.

Government Notification No. 792 of the 6th November, 1908, is hereby cancelled.

HARBOUR MASTER'S DEPARTMENT.

No. 518-It is hereby notified that information has been received from the Military Authorities that Gun Practice will be carried out as under :---

On Monday, the 23rd August, and Wednesday, the 1st September:—

From Pakshawan (Lyemun) in a North-Easterly direction, at ranges up to

6,500 yards, commencing at 5 p.m., and finishing at 11 p.m.

On Friday, the 27th August:-

From Albion (Stonecutters) in Westerly direction, at ranges up to 6,500

yards, commencing at 5 p.m., and finishing at 11 p.m.

On Tuesday, the 31st August:-

From East Battery (Stonecutters) in a West-South-Westerly direction, at ranges up to 7,800 yards, commencing at 8 a.m., and finishing at 1 p.m.

If the weather is unfavourable on any of the above dates, practice will take place on the following day.

All ships, junks and other vessels are to keep clear of the range.

MAGISTRACY.

No. 519.-It is hereby notified that a meeting of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the Colony called for 2.15 p.m. on Monday, the 23rd August, 1909, has been cancelled and that a meeting will be held at the Magistracy, at 2.15 p.m., on Monday, the 30th nstant, for the purpose of considering the following application under the Liquor Licences Ordinances, 8 of 1898 and 8 of 1908, viz.:-

From one EDWARD ARNOLD KENNEDY for the transfer to him from one ARTHUR E. GAGNON of the publican's licence to sell by retail intoxicating liquors on premises numbered 2, Pak Shui Wan, under the sign of "The Belle View Hotel".
