Regulation made by the Governor-in-Council under Section 3 of the Liquor Licences Extension Ordinance, 1908, (Ordinance No. 8 of 1908), this 6th day of August, 1909.

The Regulations made by the Governor-in-Council on the 31st day of August, 1908, and published in Government Notification No. 609 of 1908 are hereby amended by the substitution of the words "Captain Superintendent of Police" for the words "Colonial Secretary ", wherever the latter words appear therein.

Conditions in respect of Grocers' Licences made by the Governor- in-Council under Section 29 of the Liquor Licences Ordinance, 1898, (Ordinance No. 8 of 1898), this 6th day August, 1909.

The holder of a grocers' licence shall keep a book in which shall be recorded all sales of intoxicating liquors made under his licence. Such book shall be open to inspection at all reasonable hours by any Police Officer.

Grant of Licence made by the Governor-in-Council under Section 7 of the Liquor Licences Extension Ordinance, 1908, (Ordinance No. 8 of 1908), this 6th day of August, 1909.

The tenant of any Naval or Military Canteen, which is conducted on the tenant system, shall take out a licence for the sale of beer in the following form and subject to the following conditions :--

I license the above named person to sell beer, as defined by the Liquor Licences Exten- sion Ordinance, 1908, during the period above written, subject to the following conditions:---

1. Subject to the consent of the Naval or Military authorities, as the case may be, beer may be sold and delivered to Naval and Military officers and men of the Royal Navy and soldiers and their families.

2. No beer shall be sold or delivered to any servant of a Naval or Military officer or of a seaman of the Royal Navy or soldier, if such servant is not himself a seaman of the Royal Navy or a soldier, or to any civilian or to any persons other than those mentioned in condition 1.

3. All persons entitled to purchase beer at the premises referred to in this licence are prohibited from purchasing or being concerned in the purchase of it for or on behalf of any person not so entitled.

4. This licence shall be in force for the period of one year from the date thereof,

subject to the right of the Governor-in-Council to revoke it at any time.
