The Second Crossing Buoy will be a gas-lit buoy.
The West Spit Buoy will be discontinued.
The Quarantine Upper Buoy will be shifted A cables N. 50° W. from its present position, and its colour will be changed from red to red and black vertical stripes.
The following will be the directious for inward-bound vessels :--
Pass the East Entrance Buoy at a distance of 2 cables on the starboard hand and steer to make a S. 72° W. course, thus passing the First Crossing Buoy and the Second Crossing Buoy at a distance of from 1 to 2 cables on the port hand. After rounding the Second Crossing Buoy steer to make a S. 32° W. course, thus passing the Quarantine Upper Buoy at a distance of 1 cable on the port hand.
Following these directions the least water found will be 17 feet at low water of spring tides, in the neighbourhood of the Second Crossing Buoy,

THE Entrance of the River Min, which was notified on the 26th February, 1909, as having shoaled, has been sounded by the Senior Pilot, and found to have resumed its former depth.
