NOTICES TO MARINERS.

No. 339.-It is hereby, notified that all boats and vessels are to keep to the Northward of the inner line of mooring buoys opposite H. M. Dockyard, Victoria, when the Red Flag is hoisted on the mast at the North-west extreme of the Dockyard Basin. This will denote that one of H. M. Ships is being moved in or out of the basin or dock.

Government Notification No. 327 of the 25th May, 1909, is hereby cancelled.

No. 340.-It is hereby notified that on a date to be subsequently published, a Group Flashing 6th Order Light will be exhibited from Chinsultsui Point, Kowloon Peninsula. The Light will be Red with a White sector between S. 81° W. and S. 89° W. and will be exhibited from a red brick tower above the roof of the Signalman's quarters on the summit of the Hill behind the Point, at a height of 141 feet above mean sea level. It will show a group of Three Flashes of One Second duration, at intervals of One Second, followed by a period of Five Seconds darkness.

On the same date a Fixed Red automatic Light will be exhibited from the buoy mark- ing the Cust Rock, situated 43 cables N. 75° E. from the above Light.

No. 341-It is hereby notified that His Honour Sir FRANCIS TAYLOR PIGGOTT, Knight, Chief Justice, has, by Commissions signed by him, made the following appoint-

ments :-

GEORGE ALBERT WOODCOCK, Esquire, of Gray's Inn, Barrister-at-Law, Deputy Registrar and Accountant of the Supreme Court of Hongkong, to be a Commis- sioner to administer oaths and take declarations, affirmations, and attestations of honour in the Court, so long as he shall hold the said Office of Deputy Registrar and Accountant as aforesaid. (Commission dated 12th December, 1908.) JOHN ROSKRUGE WOOD, Esquire, Bachelor of Arts of Cambridge University, Deputy Registrar and Appraiser of the Supreme Court of Hongkong, to be a Commis- sioner to administer oaths and take declarations, affirmations, and attestations of honour in the Court, so long as he shall hold the said Office of Deputy Regis trar and Appraiser as aforesaid.
