PEAK TRAMWAY BILL.-The Committee stage on the Bill entitled An Ordinance for authorizing the Construction of a Tramway within the Colony of Hongkong was not pro- ceeded with.

ENTITLED
An Ordinance to authorize the Appropriation of a Supplementary Sum of Five hundred and twelve thousand two hundred Dollars and thirty-four Cents, to defray the Charges of the Year 1908.
WHEREAS it has become necessary to make further pro- vision for the public service of the Colony for the year 1908, in addition to the charge upon the revenue of the Colony for the service of the said year already provided
for:
Be it enacted by the Governor of Hongkong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Commeil thereof, as follows:-
A sum of Five hundred and twelve thousand two hun- dred Dollars and thirty-four Cents is herely charged upon the revenue of the Colony for the service of the year 1908, the said sum so charged being expended as hereinafter specified; that is to say :---
