APPROACHES TO THE YANGTZE.
Gas Buoys Extinguished.
NOTICE is hereby given that during the last few days the lights of the following Gas Buoys have been reported extinguished :-
:-
In the South Channel.-Fairy Wreck Buoy.
South-east Knoll Buoy.
In the North Channel.—Drinkwater Point Buoy.
Middle Island Buoy, West Spit Buoy.
The cause of this extinction being as yet unknown, the whole of the gas-lit Aids to Naviga- tion in the approaches to the Yangtze, including the Kiutoan Gas Light-vessel and the Drinkwater Point Gas Light-vessel must, until further notice, be considered as unreliable.

Gas-lit Aids to Navigation.
REFERRING to Special Notices to Mariners Nos. 328 and 329, notice is hereby given that the lamps of the Gas Buoys referred to have been relit, and that all the gas-lit Aids to Navigation in the approaches to the Yangtze are considered to have their normal degree of reliability.
