No. 249. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. HENRY LARDNER DENNYs to act as Crown Solicitor during the absence on leave of FRANCIS BULMER LYON BOWLEY or until further notice, with effect from this date.

No. 250.-Under instructions from the Secretary of State for the Colonies, His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint HENRY HESSEY JOHNSTON GOMPERTZ to be Puisne Judge of the Supreme Court of Hongkong with effect from the 21st March.
