Uncharted Rock in South Entrance to Haitan Strait.
NOTICE is hereby given that Captain C. D. BRADLEY of the S.S. Kutsang reports having struck an uncharted rock in the South Entrance to Haitan Strait.
From the information supplied the approximate position of the rock is 6 cables E.N.E. from the eastern islet of Double Yit, and is covered about 7 feet at low water of spring tides.

Wade Island Beacon to be Shifted; Hochow Beacon Light to be Established;
Directions for Wade Island New Crossing.
NOTICE is hereby given that on or about the 27th instant the Wade Island Beacon will be shifted to a position about 7 cables from the northern point of Wade Island, to mark the north-eastern end of the new Wade Island Crossing; and that a Beacon Light, to be known as the Hochow Beacon Light, will be established on the left bank of the river, to mark the south-western end of the new crossing,
The Hochow Beacon Light will be Dioptric, of the Seventh Order, showing a fixed red light.
