COLONIAL SECRETARY'S DEPARTMENT.

No. 124.—It is hereby notified that by an Order of His Majesty-in-Council, dated the 21st December, 1908, effect has been given to the accession of the Republic of Liberia to the International Copyright Convention of the 9th September, 1886, and to the additional Act of Paris of 1896, as from the 16th October, 1908.

No. 125. It is hereby notified that the adherence of the Colony of Hongkong to the Commercial Convention between the United Kingdom and Bulgaria signed at Sofia on the 9th December, 1905, has been notified to the Bulgarian Government.

A copy of the Convention can be seen on application at this Office.

No. 126.-The following addition to the List of Chinese Practitioners trained in Western Medical Science who are authorized to grant death certificates, published in Govern- ment Notification No. 482 of the 8th July, 1908, is published for general information :-

No. 128.-The Master of the British S.S. Hai Yang reports the existence of groups of fishing logs, forming dangers to Navigation, in the following positions. In each case the logs cover an area of from one to two miles :-
