etc., any Forest Officer acting in the execu tion of his duty.
Repeal.
11.-(1.) For the purposes of this section the term "Forest Officer " means any Forest Guard or other person who may from time to time be appointed under the author- ity of the Governor for the control or superintendence of any of the forests of the Colony.
(2.) If any person assaults or resists any Forest Officer or aids or incites any person so to assault or resist, or refuses to assist any such Forest Officer in the execution of his duty when called upon to do so, every such offender shall, on summary conviction before a Magistrate, be liable to a penalty not exceeding two hundred dollars, together with costs, to be recovered in a summary manner as the Magistrate, in his discretion, may order, and in default of payment, shall be liable, if no sufficient distress can be found, to imprisonment, with or without hard labour, for any term not exceeding six months.
12. Section 87 of the Principal Ordinance and the Stocks Punishment Limitation Ordinance 1907 are hereby repealed.
